Manx businesses are set to realise enormous benefits from Sure’s launch of next generation voice communication services for the island’s business community.
The launch of Sure’s SIP-based services is a vital step forward for the island that means businesses can finally enjoy the benefits of innovation, choice and value that true competition brings.
“The launch of next generation voice services is great news for all island businesses and will help them significantly reduce their costs,” said Alistair Beak, Chief Marketing Officer at Sure.
“Importantly, the benefits of our next generation voice services aren’t only financial and companies will certainly enjoy the greater flexibility that they offer, particularly at a time when ISDN products are being withdrawn by other operators.
“Being able to turn to Sure’s next generation voice services before Manx Telecom withdraws ISDN means that island businesses can get ahead of the game and ensure the stability of their voice communications.”
Investing Millions in the Island
The introduction of voice services is one more aspect of the transformation of the island’s telecoms marketplace that is being made possible by Sure’s significant investments in the Isle of Man, including the new fibre access network which gives companies direct access to Sure’s global carrier network
“We’re fully committed to the Isle of Man and have invested millions of pounds in both our 4G mobile and fibre access networks, which we’ve designed and installed to give island businesses the edge they need to compete in the global economy,” said Alistair Beak.
“By driving down prices, we’re having a positive effect on the entire telecoms marketplace and are giving companies the opportunity to deploy their resources elsewhere, which strengthens individual firms and the economy as a whole.”
Ideal for Smaller Businesses
The next generation multi-channel voice services are known as ISDNNG and SIPNG. They are suitable for businesses of all sizes and can be used to replace out of date PBX lines and those ISDN services being withdrawn by Manx Telecom.
Sure’s new voice services were launched at an event for business leaders held on 10th November at the Claremont Hotel.
Representatives of island businesses learned about Sure’s voice services and the company’s exciting plans for its Fibre Access Network, and the important and transformational role it will play in supporting and developing the Manx economy.
